From his 2.6-hectare farm Buena Vista Los Duraznales in San Antonio Huista (1550 masl), Antonio Tomás produces Caturra and Bourbon varieties with care and ecological focus. As part of the ASIAST cooperative, he and fellow smallholders are pioneering sustainable practices to protect their land and improve coffee quality. Antonio uses traditional washed processing with careful fermentation and slow drying, supported by shade trees and organic composting on his farm. The result is a vibrant expression of Huehuetenango’s highland terroir.
